the story of the false bridges

Once upon a time, in the middle of nowhere lived a strong man.  No one knew his name, even he himself didn't know because his parents never decided in time.  He looked at the calender.  It was his friends birthday.  He got a super soaker for him, and went outside.  Suddenly, he heard a voice in his ear.''I have created false bridges, to prevent you from crossing!'' The man ignored it, thinking it was a joke.  But when he got to the bridge crossing, there were false bridges! ''That wacko was right'' said the man.  ''Which one'', he said, ''is correct? Suddenly, in a flash of smoke, a man appeared. He said he was the fire lord and he would burn all the false bridges if he got to eat all the cake. The man agreed, forgetting it wasn't his birthday. The fire lord burned all the bridges except the one in the middle then the fire lord dissappeared.  The man happily skipped over the bridge.  At his friends candy house, the fire lord appeard! But then everyone got out their presents.  Huh? Thought the man, but he got his anyway.  Then realising what was happining, he tore off the wrapping paper.  All the others did the same.  They were also super soakers! Just then, he heard jake [the birthday boys name.]   Shout ''fire!'' Everyone fired! The fire lord shouted no! And dissapeared forever.  The end.

one day school

On Wednesdays I go to one day school.  Its a special school for special children.  To be in one day school you have to pass a test.  If you pass you have to wait and you'll be in.  There are 3 kinds: Junior, middle and senior schools.  I am in the middle school.  I forgot what the 1st topic was but the second was identity, 3rd learning and the topic for this term is time.  The teacher is called Anne and the students are James, yu heng,[he is Chinese] Sophia, Kate, Jamie, Leon, Louis, Luke and I.  Also we are allowed to have turns on the laptops at morning tea and lunch.  Also try these popular one day school websites: friv and sploder.  Go one day school!

my weekend at timaru

On the weekend I went to Timaru to celebrate my dads birthday even though it was on Tuesday. On the first day,me and Jess went to auntie Diane's house while Mum and Dad looked around the farm. On the second day, we went to the farm and had cupcakes. After that, I played soccer with abbey and Lydia [they are two of my cousin's. The other cousin is Oliver] and played on the computer. There wasn't Internet, so we had to do 101 kids brainy games. There was this cool, but hard game called fat boy and the musical cookie. You have to copy the cookie's pattern to get each cookie. After the game, we tested dad's soda geyser. It was so cool. Also, we went to the hot springs. On the third day, we had a look round the whole farm [not only the house] and I had a ride on the farmer's motorbike. Finally, we went home. We had a superb time. So cool, I'd like to go back there any time!

We are making grass seed heads. Some are growing. Mine is growing, but it isn't much. We hope they will grow bigger soon. It is cool that we are learning about earth, and I hope everyone treats it carefully.
